Message: I'm fortunate to have known the owner, Jeannine Kempees, since 2001, and this store is her first "baby. " It's the perfect place to treat yourself to some Habitat dresses or Not Your Daughter's Jeans for you, or a colorful umbrella for your Mom. Then get a cappuccino and catch a show at the Rose. You can always count on friendliness and warmth from the owner and staff, who are invested in the community.

Message: Hands down the BEST shopping experience for womenswear on the Olympic Peninsula. Great, well-designed and boutique manufactured clothing, shoes and accessories. Awesome collections include Printed Umbrellas, locally sourced jewelry, handbags and scarves. Great gifts too. All this plus the best, most knowledgeable and helpful staff in the historic Victorian seaport & arts community of Port Townsend.

The clothes -- a really wide selection from elegant to fun to - what? used! Yes, they even have a selection of lightly worn togs in back. And amazing shoes and jewelry.
